A young man named Henry E. GOSS, a stone cutter of St. George (Charlotte Co.) gained the affections of a young lady whose father is connected with the granite works there is a prominent capacity. Miss Laura DEWAR was the name of the young lady. In order to prevent the lovers from meeting, the daughter was sent to St. John, where she arrived on Monday. But the young man also got here the same day having been apprised of her father's intentions. Last night the services of Rev. A.E. Ingram were called into requisition and the couple were made one, Clerk Richford of the house lending his support to the groom and a young lady acquaintance in the hotel being the bridesmaid. Nothing now remains but the parental forgiveness to complete this little drama.
