She had been in failing health for several years. Services will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Jones Funeral Home in Washington with the Rev. George Bishop officiating. Burial will be in the Elm Grove Cemetery. Visitation will begin after 9 a.m. Sunday at the funeral home. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday.... A memorial has been established for the Washington Care Center or the United Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Fisher was born in Crawford County December 26, 1887, a daughter of George E. and Sarah Catherine (Pierson) Lewis. She graduated from Washington Academy and on March 1, 1911, she married Roy W. Fisher in West Chester. He died on Feb. 24, 1949. She lived all of her life in Washington County and was a member of the United Presbyterian Church. She taught in rural schools prior to her marriage. Survivors include two daughters, Davida (Mrs. Donald) Nicholson of Wayland; and Alyce (Mrs. William) Holscher of Annandale, Va.; one son, Earl Fisher of Des Moines; six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was the last of her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sisters, Verna Moothart and Georgia McGinnis. Thank You Ben Bower
