Read More	The Hooper Sentinel November 7, 1935 Funeral Services Held For Mrs. Stroh At Zion Lutheran church Sunday afternoon, funeral services were held at two o'clock for Mrs. Louis Stroh, Jr., of Fremont, who passed away Friday afternoon, November 1, at a Fremont hospital at the age of 55 years, 1 month and 22 days. Mrs. Stroh's death resulted from serious complications resulting from a fall she suffered about a month before her demise. She had been in the hospital a couple of weeks and was seemingly on the road to recovery until Friday when her condition suddenly became critical and death came to her about 2:30 o'clock that afternoon. Preceding the service here, services were held at one o'clock from the Fremont home. The services were conducted by Rev. A. S. Pannbacker as the officiating clergyman and a goodly number of relatives and friends were in attendance at the services at Zion church. Music was furnished by a quartet composed of Miss Irene Nast, Miss Grace Blomendahl, Woodrow Havekost and Clarence Wagner, with Miss Cora Wagner as organist. Pall bearers were Henry Wagner, J. P. Harms Henry J. Wagner, C. H. Dahl, John H. Janssen and Edw. Wagner. Interment was made in the Hooper cemetery. Laura Stroh, nee Meyer, was born September 9, 1880, and grew to womanhood in this place and community and was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith in the Zion Lutheran church by the late Rev. I. Grauenhorst. In her residence here she gained many friendships among the people of this locality and word of her death came as a shock to those near and dear to her. She was united in marriage in July 1903, to Louis Stroh, Jr., and then followed a number of years residence here and also in Omaha, and for the past eight years Fremont had been her home. To this union three children were born, Mrs. Arzella Briggs and Vernis of Fremont and Wilford of Omaha, who with their father have the sympathy of Hooper friends in their loss of a beloved wife and mother. Other close surviving relatives are her aged parents, Mr. and Mrs. John F. Meyer, of Hooper, and three grandchildren.
