Description	:	LAURA VEDE WAHLSTROM Laura Vede Wahlstrom, daughter of John Coiner and Jemimah Jones, was born at Ottumwa, Iowa, September 22, 1855. She died at her home in Lamoni, Iowa, Friday, August 12. In January 1877, she was married to John Baker. Seven children were born to them, three having preceded the mother in death in their childhood. After the death of her husband, she was married to John Wahlstrom in October 1898. Read More	LAURA VEDE WAHLSTROM Laura Vede Wahlstrom, daughter of John Coiner and Jemimah Jones, was born at Ottumwa, Iowa, September 22, 1855. She died at her home in Lamoni, Iowa, Friday, August 12. In January 1877, she was married to John Baker. Seven children were born to them, three having preceded the mother in death in their childhood. After the death of her husband, she was married to John Wahlstrom in October 1898. To them, one daughter was born. She passed away in her infancy. Following the death of Mr. Wahlstrom, she lived for several years in the Saints' Home and more recently in her own household. She was baptized into the Reorganized Latter Day Saints church in Denison, Texas, in 1875. Mrs. Wahistrom suffered a brain hemorhoge August 7, which rendered her in a rather helpless state and her suffering was very intense. She was cared for in her home by her sister, Mrs. M. A. Helphrey of Des Moines. Mrs. Wahlstrom is survived of her immediate family by four children. Mrs. Almeda Richards, of Edmonton, Canada; John E. Baker, of Ottumwa, Iowa; Arthur B. Baker, of Minneapolis, Minn; Ralph Baker, of Southerland Springs, Texas. Funeral services were held from the White Funeral Home Sunday afternoon, August I4, the sermon was delivered by R. A. Cheville. Interment was made in Rose Hill Cemetery by the side of her husband and infant daughter. Those attending the services from out-of-town were her son, John Baker, of Ottumwa; her sister, Mrs. Duffield, of Kellerton, Iowa, and her niece and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Brown, of Colfax, Iowa.
