Ray of Baker, Ore., was solemnized at 2:30 o'clock Thursday afternoon June 22, 1916, at the country home of the bride's mother, Mrs. Eva Reaksecker. The ceremony was read by Rev. William Moll Case, the ring service being used. Preceding the ceremony Prof. H. B. Schuler sang "For You Alone" and "Awakening." During the ceremony Mr. Schuler played "Annie Laurie." Ray of Baker, Ore., was solemnized at 2:30 o'clock Thursday afternoon June 22, 1916, at the country home of the bride's mother, Mrs. Eva Reaksecker. The ceremony was read by Rev. William Moll Case, the ring service being used. Preceding the ceremony Prof. H. B. Schuler sang "For You Alone" and "Awakening." During the ceremony Mr. Schuler played "Annie Laurie." The wedding took place under a large arch of white roses, which had been arranged in one corner of the living room. The bride wore her traveling suit of blue French serge combined with taffeta, with a large blue hat. Her corsage bouquet was of brides roses. Immediately after the ceremony a dainty three-course luncheon was served in the dining room. The table was covered with cluny lace over pink satin and was centered with a large cluster of brides roses and swansonia. From the chandeliers to four corners of the table extended ropes of southern similax, entwined with white satin ribbon. The invited guests were: Mr. and Mrs. Will Wells, Mrs. Mary Wampler, Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Ray, Slater, Colo; Mr. and Mrs. Dean Sullivan, Rupert, Idaho; Ernest Ray, Okmulgee, Okla.; Mrs. John Williams and son, Ray, of Onida, S.D.; Mr. and Lester Reaksecker and son, Lester, Jr., Dr. and Mrs. K.R. Malotte, Prof. and Mrs. H.B. Schuler, Mr. and Mrs. John D. Rickey and daughter, Miss Mary Margaret, Mrs. R. G. Richey, Mr. and Mrs. Jas. Ray, Greeley, Colo., Mrs. Naomi Cecil of Carding, Nebr.; Chris Miller, Harrisonville, Mo., Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Buckland, Springfield, Mass; Miss Ethel M. Wells, Miss Mary Rosa Wells, Miss Roberta Wells, Miss Anna Stapler, Miss Stella McDowell, Miss Dora Bosley, Warren and Noble Reaksecker. Mr. and Mrs. Ray left on the evening train for a honeymoon trip to Greeley, Colo., and other western points and after July 15, they will be at home to their friends at 1223 Auburn avenue, Baker, Ore. Mrs. Ray is the only daughter of Mrs. Eva Reaksecker and is a beautiful and talented young woman. Mr. Ray is a son of Mr. and J. W. Ray, formerly of Maryville, but now of Greeley, Colo. - Maryville Tribune."
