Later he returned to Cambridge to carry on the family farm business. When he wasn’t busy tending to the farm, Eddie enjoyed dancing with his wife at the Val Air and Lake Robbins Ballrooms. Eddie was the loving father of Jan (the late Michael) Bevilacqua and Jill (Paul) Renze; dear grandfather of Chris (Roberta) Heintz, Cortney (Chris) Adams, Katie (Joe) Reginaldi, Ben Renze, and Will Renze; and cherished great-grandfather of eight, nieces Rhana Kelderman and Toni Tebbet. He was the loving and devoted husband of Elaine, who preceded him in death in 2013. Services were privately held at Davenport Family Funeral Home in Barrington, Illinois with interment at Fjeldberg Lutheran Cemetery in Huxley. Memorial donations may be made to JourneyCare Hospice Foundation, 2050 Claire Ct, Glenview, IL 60025.
