Description	:	LaVon Theodosia "Teddy" Busek, 90, passed away on Friday, July 11, 2014 at her son's home in Yuma, AZ. She was born January 27, 1924 in Choteau, Montana to Theodore E and Millie (Shelmerdine) Caufield. Upon graduation from Fairfield, Montana High School, she worked for an attorney, as well as other various secretarial and bookkeeping positions throughout her life. Read More	LaVon Theodosia "Teddy" Busek, 90, passed away on Friday, July 11, 2014 at her son's home in Yuma, AZ. She was born January 27, 1924 in Choteau, Montana to Theodore E and Millie (Shelmerdine) Caufield. Upon graduation from Fairfield, Montana High School, she worked for an attorney, as well as other various secretarial and bookkeeping positions throughout her life. She married her husband Loren "Curly" Busek in November of 1943 and they spent time living in Great Falls, Helena, Butte, MT and Tacoma WA. After retiring from the Cascade Country Nursing Home in 1992 she and her husband moved to Charlo, MT. They spent winters in Yuma, AZ with there son until Loren passed away in December of 2006. To be closer to her son, she moved permanently to Yuma. LaVon was a very devoted mother and wonderful grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother. She was a member of the LDS church. Her personality and loving sweetness will always be remembered. Memories of her caring ways and extraordinary talents are forever etched on the mind of those that loved her. LaVon was very musical and an accomplished pianist for church, music groups and family. Her talents were demonstrated early in life when she astonished her family at age five by playing the melody she heard at church on the family piano. LaVon is survived by her daughter, Darlene (Joe) Geldrich of Missoula, MT and son, Richard Busek of Yuma, AZ; brother in law, Kenneth Busek; four grandchildren, Kathy Kolberg, JJ Geldrich, Kristel Perry and Julie Kunitz; nine great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren and many extended family members. LaVon was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Loren Busek, four older sisters, Agnes Powers, Goldie Humble, Afton Scott, Grace Nelson, and one older brother, James Caufield and one great granddaughter. All her nieces and nephews will sorely miss their favorite Aunt Teddy. She will always be loved and missed dearly, but our hearts are never without her. Our angel among us.
