She was a member of Nativity Catholic Church and Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.She loved being involved in the lives of her family,friends and constomers.She loved to cook,bake and entertain with her family and friends.She would decorate the house for any and all Holiday's/She enjoyed sewing,working in her flower garden and walking.She was a very energetic person.She also donated blood at the Siouxland Community Blood Bank and was a member of Seven Gallon Club.She was blessed with a beautful smile,a caring heart and a generous soul.She will be missed by all who knew her. Survivors include her husband,Jerry;her mother,Gladys Backer;a sister,Lynette Newtyh and her husband Michael;Brothers,Edwin Backer and his wife,Rosie,Don Backer and wife Jackie;a brother-in-law,Jim Diurawiec;sisters-in-law,Judith Sanders and husband John,Cindy joyce & husband John;as well as several nieces and nephews. She preceded in death by her father,Arthur N. Backer.
