Description	:	LaVonne Lydia Grundman was born July 14, 1930 in Nebraska City, the daughter of Henry August and Leona Sophie Henrietta (Brammeier) Landwehr. She married Donald Carl Grundman August 25, 1950 in Talmage. LaVonne grew up in Lorton and graduated from Talmage High School in 1947. She worked as a teller at Arbor Bank for many years and she was a member of Bethel United Church of Christ in Nebraska City. Survivors include her husband Donald of Nebraska City; daughters, Lou Ann Murphy and husband Elvin of St. Joseph, MO; Cynthia Grundman of Nebraska City; grandson, Matthew Murphy and wife Amy; great grandchild, Alexa Murphy; brother in law, Aldean Grundman of Berryville, AR; sisters in law, Alene Landwehr of Lorton and Kathleen Landwehr of Palmyra; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Dean Landwehr and Don Landwehr and infant sister, Janis. LaVonne died June 25, 2018 at The Ambassador Care Center in Nebraska City at the age of 87 years, 11 months and 11 days.
