In 1947, the couple moved to Yankton. She worked as a cook ffor the Moose Lodge for several years, and in the latter 1980s, she went to work for the Press and Dakotan as a stuffer. She was a member of the Moose Lodge, Ladies Auxiliary, a 50-year member of the Busy Bells Extension Club, and First United Methodist Church. Survivors include one son: Danny, Yankton; two daughters, Donna Mae (Jerome) Kuehn, Crofton, and Doris Ann Rowland, Oklahoma City, OK.; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild;two brothers, Lowell Stocking, Crofton, and Arnold Stocking, Hillsboro, OR. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and brother.
