Read More	Lawana Faye Curtis February 23, 1938 - December 05, 2014 Mrs Lawana Faye Curtis, age 76, of Alexandria, TN, passed away Friday, December 5, 2014 at her home. Mrs Curtis was born February 23, 1938 in Smith County, TN, the daughter of the late, Homer Fowler and Willette Potter. She was also preceded in death by her daughter: Teresa Hunter on May 15, 2006 and by brother, Billy Clayton Fowler on July 16, 1981. Mrs Curtis was married to Ralph Curtis in June of 1955. She worked for Alexandria Industrial and the Auburntown and Dowelltown Shirt Factory. Mrs Curtis was a member of the Lower Helton Baptist Church. Mrs Curtis is survived by husband, Ralph Curtis of Alexandria, TN. Two sons: Steven (Michelle) Curtis of Alexandria, TN and Jeffrey (Glenda) Curtis of Alexandria, TN. Grandchildren: Dakota Curtis of Alexandria, TN, Colton Curtis of Alexandria, TN, Will Tarpley of Shelbyville, TN, Derek Tarpley of Elmwood, TN and Savannah Curtis of Alexandria, TN. One great granddaughter, MaKaeleigh Tarpley. Brother: Daryle Fowler of Carthage, TN. Funeral services for Mrs Curtis are scheduled to be conducted Sunday, December 7, 2014 at 2 PM at Avant Funeral Home, with Mike Clayborn officiating. Interment will follow in the Hillview Cemetery. Visitation with the Curtis family will be held at Avant Funeral Home on Saturday from 12 Noon to 8 PM and on Saturday from 10 AM until the time of services at 2 PM. Bass Funeral Homes
