| Description | : | Mr. Barnes was born April 9, 1909 at Gothenburg, the son of Clyde and Gertrude Benckesar Barnes. He attended Gothenburg schools and married Florence Donscheski January 10, 1930, at Stanton. Mr. Barnes moved to Albion in 1928 with his father. He worked for several years as a body and fender man for Dewey Miller and worked in construction for Dobson Brothers Construction of Lincoln and Gilbert Construction of Grand Island.
