Description	:	L. J. Hillebrecht Dies Lawrence J. Hillebrecht, 72, 1426 Choteau, died in St. John's Hospital after a short illness Wednesday afternoon. He was born in Helena, Feb. 28, 1900, to Louis and Clara Hillebrecht. He attended Helena schools and has been a life long resident. He began working with his father in the Union Mercantile then worked for the Union Bank. For 15 years he owned and operated the Hennessy Grocery Store, with Larry Hanson. He was born in Helena, Feb. 28, 1900, to Louis and Clara Hillebrecht. He attended Helena schools and has been a life long resident. He began working with his father in the Union Mercantile then worked for the Union Bank. For 15 years he owned and operated the Hennessy Grocery Store, with Larry Hanson. Hillebrecht later worked as an auditor for the State Gas Tax Commission, 1958 to 1968, then retired. He was married to Treva Durkee Oct. 29, 1921 in Cleveland, Ohio. He was a 50 year honorary member of the Morning Star Lodge No. 5 AF&AM, the Algeria Shrine, Scottish Rite Bodies, the "Wrecking Crew" of the Uniform Bodies and the Royal Order of Jesters. He is survived by his wife, Treva; one son, Lawrence J. Jr. of Fresno, Calif.; two daughter, Clara Lou Ellis of Helena and Treva Bell Gransberg of Helena; one sister, Amilia Batch of Helena; ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in the Retz Chapel, with Rev. George Harper officiating. He will be buried in Forestvale Cemetery.
