Description	:	The funeral for Lawrence J. Williams, 94, of Fremont will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church in Fremont. He died Tuesday, June 1, 2004, at A.J. Merrick Manor in Fremont. Williams was born May 16, 1910, in Cedar Bluffs. He grew up near Cedar Bluffs and attended Cedar Bluffs Schools. He farmed with his father near Cedar Bluffs. He died Tuesday, June 1, 2004, at A.J. Merrick Manor in Fremont. Williams was born May 16, 1910, in Cedar Bluffs. He grew up near Cedar Bluffs and attended Cedar Bluffs Schools. He farmed with his father near Cedar Bluffs. He married Bernice Koyen on June 10, 1935, in Cedar Bluffs. After his marriage to Bernice, the couple moved to a farm east of Fremont and farmed there until retiring in 1978. She preceded him in death March 10, 1981. He moved to Fremont in 1982. He married Helen McWhorter Spalding on Nov. 20, 1982, in Fremont. She died May 12, 1995. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Fremont, Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 200 of Fremont and Fremont Rotary Club where he was a member for more than 35 years. Survivors include: two stepsons, Denny Spalding of Pueblo West, Colo., and Rick (and wife, Mary Jo) Spalding of Fremont; two stepdaughters, Cindy (Mrs. Robert "Bob") Zvacek of Jacksonville, Fla., and Janice Zinnert of Nixa, Mo.; 11 stepgrandchildren and four stepgreat-grandchildren. He also was preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters. The Rev. Greg Hall will officiate Friday's service. Visitation will be from 2-9 p.m. today with the family receiving friends from 6:30-8 p.m., all at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. Visitation will continue one hour prior to service time at the church. Burial will be in Memorial Cemetery in Fremont. Memorials have been established to First United Methodist Church in Fremont and the Fremont Family YMCA.
