Description	:	Lawrence (Larry) Lacey, age 73, passed away February 22, 2021, at the McKay Dee hospital in Ogden, Utah, with his wife Karen by his side. Cremation has taken place. Larry served in the United States Navy Seabees during the Vietnam War and he was in charge of rebuilding roads. He married Karen Brayton on November 30, 1968, in Gibbon. Together they raised two sons, Dan and Garey. Mr. Lacey was a resident of Rock Springs and Diamondville, Wyoming, and Shelton. He was a heavy equipment mechanic. Before retiring in 2007, he worked for Hemphill Trucking. He enjoyed hunting and watching old westerns. He also enjoyed spending time with his granddaughters. He especially enjoyed going to the PTSD group and talking to the other veterans. He is survived by the love of his life, Karen; sons, Dan, of Adams, and Garey (Lisa), of Kemmerer, Wyoming; granddaughters, Brittney (Chandler) Marsh and Jentrie and Jaylyn Lacey; great-grandchildren, Kaysen and Maci; and two sisters, Judy Bolan, of Shelton, and Denise Harper, of Wyoming. He is preceded in death by his mother, Georgia Lacey; infant son, David; and brothers, Pat Jr. and Earl (Squeaky).
