NORA ETTA FROST Whose maiden name was Caster, was born in Decatur county, Iowa, Nov. 12,1878, and passed away May 24,1907. On Oct. 18, 1895, she was married to Lawrence M. Frost, to this union six children were born, Oral, Marie, Opal, Lucille, Raymond and Margarette. She leaves a husband and mother, two Brothers,Lawrence and John Caster, and two sisters, Mrs. Mattie Johnson and Mrs. L.A. Hiatt, the latter sister of Altamont, Kansas. When 14 years old she united with the German Baptist church and continued in that faith to the end. Her illness was of short duration and she bore it patiently. Sister Frost was a true wife and loving and affectionate mother. Funeral services were held at the Dunkard church, east of Leon, conducted by E.M. Edith (Evans) Frost passed away on July 15th 1935. Lawrence Frost was preceded in death by his parents, both of his wifes's, one daughter, Catherine Marie Campbell, 3 infant siblings, brother, Clarence Frederick Frost, granddaughter, Merna Faye Sutherland. Survivors include daughters: Opal May Cook, Marguerite Florence Frost Greene, Frieda Lucile Chambers & Mertie Esther Frost Hatcher, sons Oral & Roy Frost. brother, Ralph V Frost, grandchildren, great grandchildren and a host of friends.
