Description	:	Funeral services were held for Lawrence Mins, Thursday morning at St. Christina's Catholic Church. Mr. Mins passed away at his home Tuesday morning, Jul. 12, 1960 after six weeks illness. Lawrence Mins was born Dec. 23, 1884 at Gaylord, MN. He was the son of George and Mary Ann Mins. The family later moved to Maurice, IA, where he lived a few years before coming to Parker 43 years ago. He spent the rest of his life in Parker. Lawrence Mins was born Dec. 23, 1884 at Gaylord, MN. He was the son of George and Mary Ann Mins. The family later moved to Maurice, IA, where he lived a few years before coming to Parker 43 years ago. He spent the rest of his life in Parker. He was united in marriage to Elizabeth Fanning on Feb. 11, 1918. To this union two children were born; William of Aberdeen and Mary (Mrs. Phillip Graber) of Parker. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother. Mr. Mins was employed by Turner County prior to taking a job with the City of Parker, where he was a tireless, faithful employee for 33 years as street commissioner.
