Description	:	OBITUARY Lawrence N. Graham, 74, of Barneston, died Monday morning, Jan, 29, 1996 at Lincoln General Hospital in Lincoln. He was born July 10, 1921 near Summerfield, Kansas. He spent his childhood on a farm in the Mission Creek area west of Summerfield. He was a 1940 graduate of Barneston High School. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II from 1940 to 1944. He was born July 10, 1921 near Summerfield, Kansas. He spent his childhood on a farm in the Mission Creek area west of Summerfield. He was a 1940 graduate of Barneston High School. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II from 1940 to 1944. He worked for Barr Grain Co., Lincoln Grain Co., and the Farmers Union Co-Op at Barneston, retiring as it's manager in 1987 after 37 years of employment. He married Helene June Weyer on Jan. 8, 1953 at Marysville, Kansas. She died July 13, 1984. He married Lilly Butler O'Neil on July 26, 1985 at Marysville, Kansas. He was a member of the Barneston American Legion Post #356, Geddes-Thober V.F.W. Post #1077 at Beatrice; The Loyal Order of Moose at Marysville, Kansas, was a former Mayor and town Marshall of Barneston; was a past member of the Barneston Volunteer Fire Dept.; and was a past member of the Barneston School Board. He enjoyed gardening and woodworking, especially making grandfather clocks. He is survived by his wife Lilly; son, Loren, and his wife, Michele, of Palmyra, MO.; daughter Linda Andreesen, and her husband, Arlan, of Adams and five grandchildren.
