Lawrence was born March 10, 1935, in Norridgewock, the son of Ralph Miller and Dorothy Dunlap Miller. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Mary Louise Miller; his daughters, Sonya Mullin, and husband Kevin, of Embden; and Sheryl Atwood, and husband William, of Embden; his grandsons, Michael Mullin, of Readfield; and Kyle Mullin, of Norridgewock; granddaughter, Shelby Poulin, and husband Alex, of Fairfield; great-granddaughter, Natalie Mullin; also his sisters, Virginia Hayden, of Madson; Joan Tibbetts, of New Hampshire; and Lucille Kahawaiolaa, and... Lawrence was born March 10, 1935, in Norridgewock, the son of Ralph Miller and Dorothy Dunlap Miller. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Mary Louise Miller; his daughters, Sonya Mullin, and husband Kevin, of Embden; and Sheryl Atwood, and husband William, of Embden; his grandsons, Michael Mullin, of Readfield; and Kyle Mullin, of Norridgewock; granddaughter, Shelby Poulin, and husband Alex, of Fairfield; great-granddaughter, Natalie Mullin; also his sisters, Virginia Hayden, of Madson; Joan Tibbetts, of New Hampshire; and Lucille Kahawaiolaa, and husband Francis, of Connecticut; brother-in-law, Jake Knowles; sisters-in-law, Linda Fanjoy, Judy Mantor and husband Dan, Donna Parlin and husband Ricky, and Christine Miller; and several nephews, nieces, and cousins, including his special nephew, Bruce Miller, and his wife Min. He was predeceased by his parents; his in-laws, Ralph and Lillian Corson; his brothers, Richard, Donald, and Phillip; sister, Pauline White, and husband Guy; brother-in-law, Victor Fanjoy; and sisters-in-law, Helen Knowles and Earline Miller. Lawrence worked as a machinist at Norwock Shoe in Norridgewock, and later retired from New Balance. Lawrence was known as the man who could fix anything. He was an avid outdoorsmen who loved hunting, fishing and camping. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. The family would like to thank all of his caregivers for their dedication, care and compassion. Burial will be at the Sunset Cemetery, Mercer Road, Norridgewock. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Harold Alfond Cancer Center. (Central Maine Newspapers 9/19/2017)
