Description	:	DEATH PFEIFFER - Mrs. Leah E. Pfeiffer, 85, formerly of 1204 Dunday [sic; Dundy], Falls City, Neb., passed away at Midland Villa Nursing Home at 11:15 a.m. Monday, September 10, 1984. She was born April 23, 1899, near Morrill, a daughter of the late Harry Stoner and Winifred Baker Stoner. Pfeiffer, 85, formerly of 1204 Dunday [sic; Dundy], Falls City, Neb., passed away at Midland Villa Nursing Home at 11:15 a.m. Monday, September 10, 1984. She was born April 23, 1899, near Morrill, a daughter of the late Harry Stoner and Winifred Baker Stoner. She moved to Upland, Calif., at the age of 20 months when her mother passed away to be raised by her grandmother. She returned to Morrill when she was 18 years old and made her home with her father and stepmother. On July 6, 1921, she married Dilbert D. Pfeiffer at Morrill. They established their home near Hamlin. They moved to Falls City in 1973. Mr. Pfeiffer died March 19, 1982. Mrs. Pfeiffer was a member of the Church of the Brethren at Morrill. She is survived by a daughter, Winifred Pfeiffer, Falls City, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Lloyd and Jesse Stoner. Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 12, at 1:30 p.m. at the Dorr Funeral Home, Falls City. The Rev. Rodney L. Moore, Morrill, will officiate. Burial will be in the Mt. Pfeiffer July 6, 1921, at Morrill. He died March 19, 1982. Survivors include a daughter, Winifred Pfeiffer, Falls City. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. today at Dorr Funeral Home, Falls City. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Hiawatha, Kansas.
