Born in Lonaconing on May 26, 1944, she was the daughter of the late John Carl Boettcher and Isabell Mary (Getson) Boettcher. She was preceded in death by one sister Carlene Boettcher Mazuc; and one special aunt, Viola Helferstay. Friends will be received at the Eichhorn-McKenzie Funeral Home, P.A., Lonaconing, on Saturday from noon until 3p.m. A memorial service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 3p.m., with the Reverend Richard Mortimore officiating. Inurnment will be held at a later date at the Oak Hill Cemetery, Lonaconing.
