She was employed before her marriage at Cones State Bank, Pierce, Nebraska for four years and then was employed for 35 years at DeLay First National Bank & then Firstier Bank, retiring in May of 1989. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church and was actively involved in charitable work. LeAnna is survived by her son and daughter in law: Bruce and Carol Kennedy of Crete, grandchildren and spouses: Jennifer and Jeff Meinke, Jon and Shannon Kennedy and Jason and Amanda Dean. Great grandchildren: Isaac, Aaron and Jacob Meinke, Haley, Mikayla and Owen Kennedy, Gillian and Ella Dean. Nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents: Nicolaus and Leona Wiese, husband: Orval, an infant son, sister and brother in law: Arlene and Dean Ott, brother and sister in law: Delwin and Pat Wiese, sister in law and spouse: Ardyce and Alvin Reeg, brother in law and spouse: Merlin and Mary Kennedy, nephews: Wesley Ott, Rodney Reeg and Jerry Reeg. Funeral Services: Monday, 10:30 am, Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Crete. Viewing 1 hour prior to services at the church. Interment will take place in Hillcrest Cemetery in Norfolk, Nebraska at 3:00 pm. Memorials have been designated to Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
