Description	:	Lee Dee Radach, of Moses Lake, Washington, went to be with our Lord on Aug. 4, 2020, at the age of 92. He was born to Gottfried (Fred) Radach and Magdalena (Lena) Jeske Radach on Sept. 15, 1927, on the family homestead near Warden, Washington. He lived on that homestead most of his life, attending school at Warden, Washington, graduating in 1945 in a class of three students. He took over the family farm in the early 1950s. Read More	Lee Dee Radach, of Moses Lake, Washington, went to be with our Lord on Aug. 4, 2020, at the age of 92. He was born to Gottfried (Fred) Radach and Magdalena (Lena) Jeske Radach on Sept. 15, 1927, on the family homestead near Warden, Washington. He lived on that homestead most of his life, attending school at Warden, Washington, graduating in 1945 in a class of three students. He took over the family farm in the early 1950s. Lee married Lorina Frieda Gross on Aug. 24, 1952 in Dryden, Washington. In 1988 Lee and Lorina moved to Moses Lake, Washington. When Lorina died in 2016, Lee moved to Monroe House in Moses Lake. He passed on at UW Medical Center – Northwest, Seattle, Washington. Lee was a member of the Warden Community Church, serving on boards and singing in the choir. Even after moving to Moses Lake, Lee and Lorina would drive to Warden to attend the church that his family had founded. Lee was a lifelong farmer, dedicated to his family and farm. His memories of working on the farm spanned the times when horses pulled the implements to modern tractors and large combines. He was named SWCD Conservation Farmer of the Year in 1971. Even after retirement he actively returned to help when needed. The Radachs owned an RV for 43 years and every fall they looked forward to returning to Yuma, Arizona, where they would spend the winter months. In Yuma they enjoyed the warm weather, walks and the company of the friends they made. Lee and Lorina also were members of the Wannigan Trailer Club. Lee is survived by his son Ron and wife Linda of Lake Forest Park, Washington; daughter Kathryn Kester and husband David of Lopez Island, Washington; grandchildren Kevin Radach and wife Rachael, Kyle Radach and wife Kristin, Adam Kester, Laura Kester Seitz and husband Evan; and siblings Edna Watkins (100), Irene Byers (100), Paul Radach (98), Ruth Engler (95) and Russell Radach (88). A service will be held at a later date.
