Description	:	Lee Edwards, 68, Kenmare, died Thursday, Sept. 22, 2011, in a Kenmare hospital. Lee was born on Jan. 19, 1943, a son of Milford and Mildred (Gleave) Lee in Kenmare. He attended grade school at the Diamond Township country school and high school at Coteau High School. Lee was united in marriage to Diane Murray on Nov. 10, 1963, at Bowbells. Lee was born on Jan. 19, 1943, a son of Milford and Mildred (Gleave) Lee in Kenmare. He attended grade school at the Diamond Township country school and high school at Coteau High School. Lee was united in marriage to Diane Murray on Nov. 10, 1963, at Bowbells. Following their marriage they made their home on the Lee farm, where Lee farmed and raised cattle. For four years they owned and operated the Bowling Alley in Stanley. Lee loved spending time in the outdoors working with his livestock. He learned how to shear sheep from his father, and continued the trade throughout his lifetime. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing cards and was on a league for pool and bowling. He especially enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be missed. Lee is survived by: wife of 48 years, Diane, Kenmare; sons, Wade and his wife, JoAnn, and Randy and his wife, Jill, all of Kenmare; five grandchildren, Cody, Jarret, April, Brooke and Kayla; two stepgrandchildren, Shana and Spence; one great-grandson, Trey; mother, Mildred Edwards, Kenmare; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Lee was preceded in death by his father, Milford; son, Jeffrey; infant daughter, Verenda; and his grandparents. Funeral service: Tuesday, Sept. 27, at 11 a.m. at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Powers Lake. Burial: Bethel Lutheran Cemetery, Powers Lake. Visitation: Monday, Sept. 26, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Powers Lake.
