Description	:	Lee J. "Red" Fisher, 72, of 1423 W. Linn St., died Friday, Dec. 18 at his home. Funeral services will he at Pursel-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory at 1:30 p.m. with burial to follow at the Bethel Grove Cemetery. Rev. Illeana Maship of the First Pentecostal Church of God will officiate. Burial will he at Bethel Grove Cemetery, Albion. He was born July 31, 1926 at Hayward, Wis., the son of Levi and Lois (Finch) Fisher. He attended school in Marshalltown. He was married to Lois Vivian Smith on Aug. 11, 1944 in Marshalltown. He was employed by the Marshalltown Foundry for 18 years until the time of their closing in 1970. He had since been employed by Spindler Construction Company, American Fire Apparatus Company, Kiowa Corporation, and Tama Pack. He was a veteran of WWII being awarded the Purple Heart while fighting in the European Theater of Operations. He is survived by his wife, Lois, four daughters; Rev. Audrey Snider of Irving, Texas, Blanche Henson of Rogers, Ark., Kathryn (David) Hessinius of Marshalltown, Linda (Larry) Adams of Mason City; one son, Michael (Sandra) Fisher of Cedar Rapids; two sisters, Frances Daniel and Pauline Bane of Marshalltown; two brothers, Lawrence Fisher of Des Moines, Delbert Fisher of Marshalltown; 15 grandchildren,. 34 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, Don Roberts, Ronald and Jerry Fisher; one sister, Florence Huber; and a grandson, Daniel Rustman. from Marshalltown IA newspaper Times Republican dated Sunday December 20 1998
