He was born at McChord AFB while his father served his country in the USAF 1955 - 1958. His legal lawful name that's on his birth certificate was Lawrence Lee Fink, which was quickly boiled down to just "Lee", that for the young boy who was just learning how to print, was much easier to spell, according to family lore (and his mom). I'll briefly mention (in these five lines at F.A.G. here for genealogical accuracy) that brother Lee has an estranged son Joshua (b. 1/1/1990) who hasn't been seen by or heard from by any of us (in his late Dad's family) since his father's passing in 2005. Why?? You'll have to ask him when you see him (although we suspect faulty maternal genetics) as we gave up wondering about that some years ago now... At the time of his death brother Lee owned and drove a beautiful red and slightly raised 2001 Dodge Cummins short bed 4wd pickup (that Barbara still owns) that was almost new, with over sized chrome wheels and tires (that I got to drive last time Barbara came over here from Montana (on 10/2021), that he absolutely loved and adored. Just like his wife Barbara, his son Josh, his other family members (especially his dad) and his life long dream of finishing out his days living life with wife Barb in their new custom built home in the mountains in the great state of Montana. It was mission accomplished for Lee. EVERYTHING ELSE is just "water passing under the proverbial bridge of life". And we thank you God everyday for that...
