She was born April 19, 1922, in Solomon, the daughter of the late Henry Klover and Hazel King Klover. She worked for the U.S. government in the War Department in Washington, D.C. and also worked as an air traffic controller for 38 years for American Airlines in New York, N.Y., Cincinnati, Ohio, St. Louis, Mo., San Francisco, Calif. and Tulsa, Okla. She had lived in Abilene, Sedalia and Marshall after her retirement. ... She was born April 19, 1922, in Solomon, the daughter of the late Henry Klover and Hazel King Klover. She worked for the U.S. government in the War Department in Washington, D.C. and also worked as an air traffic controller for 38 years for American Airlines in New York, N.Y., Cincinnati, Ohio, St. Louis, Mo., San Francisco, Calif. and Tulsa, Okla. She had lived in Abilene, Sedalia and Marshall after her retirement. She was a Methodist. Survivors include three nieces, Virginia Steele of Minneapolis, Minn., Rosemary Crank of Miami, Mo., Linda Loomis of Independence, Mo.; three nephews, Paul Klover of Warrenton, Mo., Henry Klover of Bonner Springs, Alan Klover of Sedalia, Mo.; as well as their families. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Clyde Klover and Paul Clover. Memorial graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 12, at Abilene City Cemetery in Abilene. Memorials may be made to The Living Center in Marshall in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home, 226 S. Odell, Marshall, MO 65340. Friends may sign the online register book at www.campbell-lewis.com.
