Read More	Darlington - SC Leila Mae Moody McQueen, 88, of Darlington died on Friday, March 8, 2013. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 11, 2013 at 11 AM at Mechanicsville Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery, directed by Kistler Hardee Funeral Home. Leila Mae was born in Darlington County. She was the daughter of the late Festus and Eloise Moody. She lived in Darlington County her entire life. She graduated from St. John's High School. She was a lifelong member of Mechanicsville Baptist Church where she served in many capacities to include teaching Sunday school and the cemetery committee. She was the owner of McQueen Landscaping and was a faithful employee of Kistler-Hardee Funeral Home for many years. Surviving are her brother, Oscar Coleman Moody of Mechanicsville; several nieces and nephews; several great nieces and nephews; and two great- great nephews. Leila Mae was preceded in death by her husband, SJ McQueen; her sister, Azilee Moody, and by her brother, Manley Broadman Moody. The family would like to thank the staff of Medford Nursing Home in Darlington and McLeod Hospice for their exceptional care given to Leila Mae during her final days.
