Fee. They had no children. Her inscription is on the same stone with her sister, Lucy Emily Zink. The News-Herald (Hillsboro, Ohio), 13 Mar 1890, page 5 Dead Mrs. Lelia M. Fee, nee Lelia M. Zink, died at her home in Denver, Colo., last Thursday, after a brief illness, yet her health had been failing for some years past. She was very well known to a number of people in this community, and to all such no word from this paper is necessary. The remains were brought to Hillsboro for interment last Monday. The funeral services took place last Tuesday at the M.E. Church, conducted by Rev. James Murray. During the services at the church, the following paper was read which gives a brief but comforting history of the deceased: Mrs. Leila M. Fee was the daughter of Rev. M. P. and Mrs. Mary J. Zink. She was born in Williamsburg, O., where her father was pastor of the M.E. Church, January 24th, 1860. She joined the church and was converted in Batavia when about 13 years of age. She graduated from Hillsboro Female College and taught in that institution five years. She was of a quiet, amiable disposition, respected and loved by all who knew She was fitted by piety, consecration, and culture for great usefulness in a world where so many are vain and frivolous, but who mysteriously live on while she and many such are taken. Why these things are so, we must await the answer which another life only can give. Like Rebecca, she went from the home of her kindred to a distant land to unite her fortunes with another and was married at Pueblo, Colo. to Dr. Fee, January 23d, 1889. She and her husband soon made Denver their home, where they united with the M.E. Church. She soon took an active part in the church work and became a teacher in the Sunday school of Christ M.E. Church. For some years, her health had been frail, but in the salubrius climate and pure atmosphere it was hoped that she might regain her strength and live many years. But God determined otherwise, and after a few days illness, from her home in Denver, Mrs. Fee passed to her rest. And while her stricken husband and her weeping family and many friends mourn, she, with her two sisters who preceded her, are among those happy and glorified ones who are to be congratulated.
