Description	:	Lena A Moeller, 101, of Loveland, passed away on September 1, 2013 surrounded by her family. She was born May 17, 1912 in Crawford County, IA to Louis and Bertha (Lohse) Wellendorf. She married Byron Moeller in Schleswig, IA December 21, 1934. They moved to Loveland 50 years ago from Ida Grove, IA. During her lifetime Lena was a farmer's wife, co-owner of a hardware store in Iowa and upon moving to Loveland she and husband owned coin operated car washes. She worked at Hewlett Packard as a production associate for 13 years. She and her husband were avid travelers... Read More	Lena A Moeller, 101, of Loveland, passed away on September 1, 2013 surrounded by her family. She was born May 17, 1912 in Crawford County, IA to Louis and Bertha (Lohse) Wellendorf. She married Byron Moeller in Schleswig, IA December 21, 1934. They moved to Loveland 50 years ago from Ida Grove, IA. During her lifetime Lena was a farmer's wife, co-owner of a hardware store in Iowa and upon moving to Loveland she and husband owned coin operated car washes. She worked at Hewlett Packard as a production associate for 13 years. She and her husband were avid travelers in their Airstream camper and were members of the Good Sams and Airstreamers as well as being Red Cross First Aid instructors for 30 years. Lena was active in Rebecca Lodge, Eastern Star of Iowa, White Shrine Lodge, First United Methodist Church of Loveland, and McKee Medical Center Hospital Auxiliary until she turned 85. She is survived by her children, William of Loveland, Jane Burns of Altoona, IA, James (Ann) of Lake of the Ozarks, MO and Wayne (Margery) of Loveland and grandchildren Michael (Julia) Pullen of Baraboo, WI, Jill (Heath) Fitzsimmons of Sioux Falls, SD, Jena (Eric) Wiggins of Bangor, WI, Christina (Gordon) Pomeroy of Colorado Springs, William (Amanda) Moeller of Seattle, WA, Kelly Smith of Loveland, and Timothy (Lauren) Moeller of Loveland along with 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Byron, sister Emma, brother Hans, and her parents. A visitation will be held Thursday, September 5, 4-8pm at Allnutt Funeral Service, a funeral service will be held Friday, September 6, 10am at First United Methodist Church of Loveland with viewing one hour prior to the service. Interment at Loveland Burial Park. Memorial contributions can be made to Pathways Hospice, North Shore Health and Rehab or First United Methodist Church. The family would like to thank the loving staff at North Shore and with Pathways Hospice for the kind and wonderful care of Lena. .
