Description	:	Lena Fauver Cash Myrtle, 91, daughter of the late Manley and Lucinda Fauver, passed from her earthly home to her eternal home in Heaven, Wednesday, January 7, 2009, in, Raphine. Lena was born April 17, 1917, in Augusta County, where she resided her entire life. She was employed by Genesco of Verona for 38 years where she was a seamstress and served as a Supervisor for Training. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Steeles Tavern. Read More	Lena Fauver Cash Myrtle, 91, daughter of the late Manley and Lucinda Fauver, passed from her earthly home to her eternal home in Heaven, Wednesday, January 7, 2009, in, Raphine. Lena was born April 17, 1917, in Augusta County, where she resided her entire life. She was employed by Genesco of Verona for 38 years where she was a seamstress and served as a Supervisor for Training. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Steeles Tavern. Lena was a member of the Vesuvius Baptist Church, where she enjoyed working with the kitchen committee. Lena was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a pillar of strength to her family and to all those who knew her. She truly devoted her life to loving and caring for her family, even in her last days, she was able to comfort them with her caring expressions and her last words of "I Love You". The family will cherish the loving memories, knowing there will always be a tremendous void. She was preceded in death by her husband and the father of her children, Aubrey Glendon Cash; and a husband, Jesse I. Myrtle. Also, she was preceded in death by three brothers, David, Melvin and Fishburne Fauver; and three sisters, Margaret Shultz, Emily Nicely and Katherine Vines. She is survived by two sons, Leon Cash and his wife, Glenna, of Greenville, and Aubrey Garland Cash and his wife, Mary, of Stuarts Draft; three daughters, Shirley Cash and her husband, Ralph, June Cash and her husband, Raymond, of Steeles Tavern, and Linda C. Schmick and the late Albert C. Schmick, of Raphine; a step-daughter, Faye Coffman and her husband, Richard of Staunton. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, Leon Cash and his wife, Tammy, Glendon Cash and his wife, Robin, of Greenville, Tammy Peeling and her husband, Mitch of Waynesboro, Michael Cash and his wife, Becky of Fishersville, Cindy Wenger and her husband, Harold "H.L." of Harrisonburg, Tonya Doyle of Roanoke, Thomas Doyle and his wife, Mary Jane of Raphine, and Alisa Cash of San Antonio, Texas; three step- grandchildren, Rhodera Ramey, Derek Coffman and Allison; eight great- grandchildren, Sara and Jake Peeling, Derek Wenger, Cameron and Weston Cash, Kayla Cash, Morgan Bowman and Emma Doyle; and five step- great-grandchildren. She is survived by one sister, Evelyn Fauver of Maryland; a special niece, Alice K. Holden of Spottswood; and a number of other nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, January 10, 2009, at Vesuvius Baptist Church, with the Reverend Dan Stanley officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Presbyterian Church. Active pallbearers will be Leon, Glendon, Michael and Weston Cash, Thomas Doyle and Derek Wenger. In lieu of flowers, it is suggested that memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 250 West Market Street, Harrisonburg, VA 22801 and/or AMC Hospice of Shenandoah, P. O.
