Description	:	FINAL RITES FOR LENA STACY Lena Stacy, youngest child of Webster M. and Ermina (Melvin) Farrell was born in Lancaster, Mo., on September 8, 1887. She died October 8, 1968 at the age of 81 years and one month. Her mother died during Lena’s infancy and she was reared and cared for by her grandparents, Mrms George Melvin. She attended the Lancaster Public School. For eight years she was the efficient and accommodating deputy clerk and recorder of Schuyler County. Read More	FINAL RITES FOR LENA STACY Lena Stacy, youngest child of Webster M. and Ermina (Melvin) Farrell was born in Lancaster, Mo., on September 8, 1887. She died October 8, 1968 at the age of 81 years and one month. Her mother died during Lena’s infancy and she was reared and cared for by her grandparents, Mrms George Melvin. She attended the Lancaster Public School. For eight years she was the efficient and accommodating deputy clerk and recorder of Schuyler County. After that she was engaged in the abstract business in Lancaster. On September 1, 1915 she married Thomas C. Stacy who died on May 11, 1959. She was a member of the Christian Church and the Rebecca Lodge. In her latter years, she retired from active public life as a result of her advancing years and failing health. She is survived by two step-daughters, one half-brother, two half-sisters, several nieces and nephews and a host of friends who mourn her passing. Funeral services were held on Thursday, October 10, 1968 at the Christian Church with Rev. Charles Shouts, Jr., in charge of the service. Music was furnished by Mrs. Pauline Whitlow, soloist and Mrs. Maxine Elschlager, organist. Selections were "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere" and "The Last Mile." Pallbearers were, Roy Derigo, Herbert Melvin, Marvel Gosser and Forrest Cozad. Interment was in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery at Lancaster. Arrangements were by Norman’s.
