Read More	The Goldendale Sentinel, Goldendale, WA., February 13, 1936, page 4 INGEBORG LENA ANDERSON Lena Anderson, daughter of Johan Pearson and Annebeta Johnson, was born near Gottenburg, Sweden, June 27, 1851, coming to Santa Rosa, Calif. by way of New York in April 1876. On February 27, 1877, she was married to Peter Anderson, who preceded her to the Great Beyond in 1903. She came with her husband to Klickitat County from Santa Rosa, Calif., via Klamath Falls, arriving on June 5, 1880. They located on a farm in Pleasant Valley, where they spent their married life and reared a family amid the hardships of early pioneer days, and by their acts and deeds gathered to themselves the love and respect of their neighbors. To this union were born four children, Godfred, having died in infancy, and Clarence V. passing away on May 12, 1925. She leaves to mourn her passing one son, F.H. Anderson, and one daughter, Emma F. Short, both of Goldendale, other relatives and a host of friends. She moved to Goldendale to make her home in 1920, where she lived until her death on February 10, 1936. She became a member of the Church of Christ under the preaching of J.T. Eshelman in 1885 and with this faith, hope and love she left us to enter into the rest of the Faithful of God, bringing to a close of mortal day, the labors of a true pioneer, a kind of friend and loving mother. Funeral services were held Wednesday, February 12th from the Chapman Chapel, Elder S.C. Eshelman, officiating. Funeral services were conducted at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday afternoon from the Chapman chapel, Rev. S.C. Eshelman officiating. Burial was in the Pleasant Valley cemetery.
