Born May 14, 1911, in Henry County, she was the daughter of Lorenzo and Nellie Hollingsworth Watson. On Jan. 2, 1930, she married Thomas M. Willis in Mount Pleasant. He died Sept. 22, 1976. Mrs. Willis was a homemaker. She was a member of the Mount Pleasant Moose Lodge. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter, a granddaughter, two sisters and four brothers. Visitation will begin at noon today at Beatty Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. The funeral for Mrs. Willis will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Beatty Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant, with the Rev. Reba Rimmer officiating. Burial will be in Salem East Cemetery. A memorial has been established for Salem East Cemetery.
