Harrison was born in Jul of 1871 in Miller Co., Missouri and died 18 April 1914 in Coffeyville, Kansas. Lena and Harrison appear on the 1900 and 1910 Richwoods, Miller Co., Missouri census records. Lena next appears in 1915 on a Kansas State Census Collection 1855-1925 as living in Fawn Creek, Montgomery Co., Kansas and in 1920 on the U.S. census in Coffeyville, Ward 4, Montgomery Co., Kansas. By 1930, Lena has moved to Detroit, Wayne Co., Michigan living with her adult children Herman, Sherman, Dean, Joseph and Jessie (who is listed as "D" for divorced). Lena and Harrison had the following children: Jessie (1895- ), Willie (1897-1897), Alpha (1899- ), Herman (1903-1988 ), Sherman F. (1905-1990), Dean (1906-1994) and Joseph P. (1909-1954 ). This means that at least two of Lena's children are buried in the Munro Cemetery - Jessie who is buried next to Lena and son, Dean. Lena and Jessie are buried in Section M. Lena does not have a traditional headstone, but the marker placed on grave sites by the funeral home was embedded into a bed of concrete. Christian Funeral Home in Cheboygan, Cheboygan Co., Michigan handled the burial. This was my dear grandmother, who I have dear memories of.
