She had... Read More	Lena May Ganoe, age 82, of Berkeley Springs, WV, died on Thursday, October 9, 2014 at the Extended Care Facility of War Memorial Hospital. Born November 19, 1931 in Millstone, MD, she was the daughter of the late Lester Raymond and Dorothy Agnes Younker Hull. She was a member of the Orchard Ridge Church of God in Hancock, MD. She attended public schools in Hancock. Lena had worked at Lester Hovermale’s Restaurant, as a waitress at Weaver’s Restaurant and retired, in 1984, after 21 years of service as a cook in the dietary department of War Memorial Hospital. She had been a homemaker in recent years. Lena is survived by her son, Lynn Robert Sheppard of Bunker Hill, WV, three sisters, Ruby Isabelle Swain of Hancock, Agnes Deck of Ft. Loudoun, PA and Norma Jane Hull of Clear Spring, MD, six brothers, Amos Hull of Boonsboro, MD, Lester Benjamin Hull of Mt. Union, PA, Ralph Monroe Hull, Andrew Cletus Hull, Daniel Elwood Hull and Jesse Wayne Hull, all of Hancock, two grandchildren, Shelley Ann Sheppard of Bunker Hill and John Ray Sheppard of Inwood, WV, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore Arthur “Pete” Ganoe and two brothers, Wilbur James Hull and Raymond Delano Hull. Services and interment at Stone Bridge Church of the Brethren Cemetery in Hancock will be private. Arrangements are being handled by Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 95 Union Street, Berkeley Springs, WV.
