Description	:	VEINOT (Holland), Lena Victoria - sadly, the children of Lena wish to announce the passing of their mother on November 25, 2016 at South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater, at the age of 82 years, six days. After a lengthy battle with failing health, she is finally at rest. Lena was born and grew up in Meisner’s Section and later lived in Bridgewater and then Auburndale. She worked at Dawson Memorial Hospital, initially as kitchen staff and progressed to a Journeyman cook. Read More	VEINOT (Holland), Lena Victoria - sadly, the children of Lena wish to announce the passing of their mother on November 25, 2016 at South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater, at the age of 82 years, six days. After a lengthy battle with failing health, she is finally at rest. Lena was born and grew up in Meisner’s Section and later lived in Bridgewater and then Auburndale. She worked at Dawson Memorial Hospital, initially as kitchen staff and progressed to a Journeyman cook. She finished her working career at the Bridgewater Daycare where she provided nutritious meals and surprise treats for the children. Lena was predeceased by her husband Junior "Albert"; her parents Frances and Victor Holland; stepmother Geneva Holland and her only brother Donald. She is survived by her children Ardith (George) Knickle, Donald (Patricia) Veinot, Cheryl (Neil) Selig and Todd (Diahann) Veinot; step-sisters Mona Silver, Barbara (Gary) Smith; stepbrother Larry (Janice) Holland and half-sister Tina (Pat) Hann. Also surviving are her granddaughters Nicole (Ronnie) Hatt, Amanda Veinot, Bailey Selig and Jessica Leigh Corkum; grandsons Jonathan (Angelie) Knickle, Andrew (Wanda) Veinot and Christian (Jessica) Selig; three step-grandsons Dion (Samantha) Chase, Matthew and Nicholas Chase; two great-granddaughters Amelia and Aislyn who lovingly referred to her as great nannie white, because of her lovely white hair; three great-grandsons Carter, Jevon and Jett; several cousins who were dear to her heart. There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be 2:00pm Tuesday in All Saints Lutheran Church, Newcombille, Rev. Willis Ott Officiating. Private Family Interment in Lone Pine Cemetery, Upper Branch. Family flowers only. Memorial Donations may be made to All Saints Lutheran Church, Newcombville, South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater or the Charity of your choice.
