Description	:	Lenora Collier Funeral services for Mrs. Lenora Collier, 93, Shelbina, were held at 3 p.m. Tuesday in the Shelbina Baptist Church. The Rev. Alan Bartlett assisted by Rev. Tully Achord officiated with burial at IOOF Cemetery, Shelbyville. Davis Funeral Home, Shelbina, had charge of arrangements. Mrs. Collier died at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at Levering Hospital where she had been a patient for 10 days. She was born Feb. 18, 1877, in Shelby County, northwest of Shelbina, the oldest child in a family of eight children of James M. and Mary Ann Harrison Smith. She had attended Walkerville rural school and was a member of the First Baptist Church at Shelbina and a past member of the Royal Neighbors Lodge. On March 1, 1896 she was married to George W. Collier who preceded her in death May 11, 1941. They had spent their married life in the Shelbyville community and she had moved to Shelbina in recent years. Survivors include four sons and a daughter, Clarence Collier, Shelbina; Ben L. Collier, Moberly; Claude Collier, Vandalia; James V. Collier, Mt. Vernon and Mrs. Merritt (Gladys) Keith, rural Shelbina; 13 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Olive Dinwiddie, Shelbina, and other relatives.
