Description	:	The funeral for Leo A. PInke, 84, Marion, was Saturday in the Marion Lutheran Church, Marion, with Rev. Linda Wahlstrom officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Marion later in the spring. He died Wednesday, January 27, 1993, at a Valley City hospital. Mr. Pinke was born April 19, 1908, in Marion, the son of Henry and Hulda (Decklever) Pinke. He grew up and attended school in Marion and farmed with his father. He grew up and attended school in Marion and farmed with his father. He married Mildred Wirrenga January 8, 1931, in Moorhead, MN. They farmed near Marion and he did carpentry work. He retired in 1966 and they move in 1968 into Marion. He most recently had been a resident of the LaMoure Health Care Center. He was a member of Marion Lutheran Church and served on the church board and the Sheridan Township board. Survivors include his wife; a son Alvin, Valley City; a sister, Lila Olstad, Valley City; one grandson and one great-grandson. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
