Rev. Thomas E. Robson officiated. Burial was in Tekamah Cemetery. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, three brothers and a son-in-law. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Bertha; a daughter, Barbara Steen of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; a son, Gerald Chamberlain of Herman; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
