He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Norma; a daughter, Betty Jane; two brothers, George and Elmer; and a grandson, John Walderbach Jr. Leo was born Oct. 15, 1921, in Center Point, Iowa, the son of William F. and Mary Rose (Vorak) Horak. He was united in marriage to Norma Kramer on Dec. 22, 1942, in Kahoka, Mo. She died July 3, 1997. He farmed in the Center Point area most of his life. Leo was the former owner of Leo's Tavern in Coggon and retired in 1980 from Cedarapids Inc.
