Description	:	Leo H. LaForte, 70, was dead on arrival at Home Hospital at 12:03 PM Sunday, Sept. 14, 1980; he had been in failing health for two years. Born in Rolette County, ND, he came to Lafayette in 1951. In 1952, he was married at Lafayette to Kittie J. (Von Alman) Rardon, who survives. While in North Dakota, Mr. LaForte was a heavy equipment operator and after moving to Lafayette he was employed through Laborers International Union of North America Loal 274 and Russell F.
