Hillside Funeral Home states that Leo J. Allen was buried in the Huntington Cemetery. In his father's obit dated 1949, Leo is shown as a resident of Fort Smith, Arkansas. Leo. J. Allen, known as "Slim," was employed as a carpenter by the small construction company, "E. H. Barnes & Son" of Wichita, Kansas. They built houses, residential additions, and remodel work on small businesses. E. H. was Elijah Harry Barnes (1902-1973). The son in the business was Gene H. Barnes (1928-2007). I don't know which projects Slim worked on, but he did work for them for several years so it would have included quite a few. For a list of some of the E. H.
