LORETTA CURRY Mrs. Leo Loretta Dunning Curry entered this life on June 12, 1916 on Red Hog Pike in Switzerland County, near East Enterprise, Indiana. She was the daughter of Alger Elton & Lois Mamie Houston Dunning, both of whom preceded her in death. She passed away suddenly from this life on Saturday, April 26, 2003 at 11:20 P.M. at the King's Daughters' Hospital in Madison, Indiana, after entering the hospital the previous weekend. Mrs. Curry was raised near East Enterprise and was a 1936 graduate of Vevay High School and had attended secretarial studies. She was united in marriage to Clinton Curry on November 5, 1938 in Vevay, Indiana and to this union came four children to bless their home. Clinton & Loretta bought a farm on Greenbriar Ridge near Moorefield and had made their home there since March of 1941. They enjoyed raising cattle, growing tobacco and other various crops over the years together. Loretta was a member of the Center Square Baptist Church and enjoyed playing the piano, listening to music, gardening, raising flowers, scrap booking, quilting, sewing, canning & visiting with family & friends. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be missed greatly in her family circle. Loretta leaves to mourn her passing, her heartbroken husband, Clinton of Moorefield; her loving daughters, Hazel Jean Wilkerson and husband, Fred, of Lexington, Indiana; Dianna Davis & husband, Roy, of Hanover, Indiana; her loving sons, Arnold Wayne Curry & his wife, Ruth, of Hanover, IN; and Lee Roy Curry and his wife, Carolyn, of Anderson, IN; her loving sister, Lelia Mae Combs and husband, Ken, of Anderson, IN; her loving grandchildren, Fred Kenneth Wilkerson & wife Karen; Mark Allen Wilkerson and wife Kingsley; Kevin Ray Davis and wife, Meloni; Jason Scott Davis; Jeffery Scott Curry and wife, Susan; Kathy Stoner and her husband, Steve; Deborah Anderson and her husband, Grover; Michael Lee & Jennifer Jo Curry; her loving great-grandchildren, Ashley, Jordan, Kayla, Kirby, Kori, Clay, Hannah, Sarah, Rebekah, Adam, Robert and Andrew; several nieces,nephews and other relatives. Pall bearers: Jason, Kevin, Jordan, Steve, Grover, Mark, Michael, Jeff & Rick.
