Description	:	Leo Roger Fode, 74, Wilton, died October 23, 2015 in a Bismarck Hospital. A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 30, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at the Bismarck Funeral Home. Roger was born on January 14th, 1941 in Bismarck, ND to Theodore and Martha (Guerin) Fode. He graduated from Bismarck High in 1959. Roger enlisted in the Navy, married Susan Yazzolino and had one daughter, Idell (Wherity) Plumb while living in Oregon. He was divorced and moved back to Bismarck. In 1968, he met the love of his life, Claudia Nelson. They were married on November 14, 1970 in Las Vegas. They would have celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary this year. They had two daughters, Tammy Goehring and Melissa Fergel. In 1977, Roger and Claudia moved their family to a farm in Wilton. He had a passion for the outdoors. He loved trapping, fishing, gardening, and hunting. He received his 50 year pin from the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. He was a member of the Eagle’s club since 1970. Roger is survived by his wife Claudia, his daughters, Tammy (Stacy) Goehring, Menoken, ND and Melissa Fergel, Poquoson, VA, four grandchildren, Savanna Goehring, Jessica Fergel, Cody Goehring and Lane Goehring. He is also survived by his sister, Ilene Roth and her husband Gene of Sidney, Mt. Roger was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Ted, sister-in-law, Bev Fode and his sister Arlene Fisher.
