Lawrence also was very ill but recovered. Leo Schwarze Leo, the five years old son of Mr. and Mrs. Louie Schwarze died Sunday after only a few days illness with scarlet fever. It seems sad indeed, that one so young, just at the age where his presence in the home were the joy of the loving parents should be so suddenly called to the eternal home. But God, in his infinite wisdom, does things well, even though we, a humble people, so often fail to see why things would be as they are. Leo was an exceptionally bright boy, with a kind and loving disposition and unlike many children of his age, always confided in Papa and Mamma, even if he were just going out of doors to play. In this child they could picture him a model in manhood's estate and then that all should be blotted out seems almost unbearable to the loving parents. A week ago he was as well as usual, then he was taken with scarlet fever, he could only endure for a few days. All was done for the child possible but it seemed that the Father above did called and he must go. The people of this place and neighborhood extend great sympathy to the bereaved parents. The child was laid to rest in St Peter's cemetery Monday with a distant service, as the disease forbid more.
