Funeral services were held Saturday,January 17,2009, at Westminster UnitedPresbyterian Church in Minden withthe Rev. Dr. Berke Landrum officiating. Leo was born on June 15, 1925, to Charles and Minnie (Johnson) Sinsel in rural Minden.Leo grew up north of Minden and attended country school. On December 15, 1945, he married Harriet Christensen and they made their home near Minden. Leo and Harrietwere active in the Minden community. Survivors include three sons, Robert Sinsel and his friend Karen Olmsted, Randall Sinsel and his wife Joy, and David Sinsel, all of Minden; sixgrandchildren; two stepgrandchildren;and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Harriet; one grandson, Lynn Randall Sinsel;daughter-in-law, Lynda; andthree brothers, Elmer, Alvin, and Glen.
