Description	:	LAKE CITY: Mrs. Agnes Leola Bradshaw Braxton, 90, passed away peacefully Thursday, April 5th, 2012, in her home after a long illness. Mrs. Braxton was born in Williamsburg County on January 28th, 1922. She was a daughter of the late Louis Bradshaw and the late Agnes Marsh Bradshaw and was the widow of the late Louis Braxton. Read More	LAKE CITY: Mrs. Agnes Leola Bradshaw Braxton, 90, passed away peacefully Thursday, April 5th, 2012, in her home after a long illness. Mrs. Braxton was born in Williamsburg County on January 28th, 1922. She was a daughter of the late Louis Bradshaw and the late Agnes Marsh Bradshaw and was the widow of the late Louis Braxton. Mrs. Braxton loved being a homemaker. She thoroughly enjoyed taking care of her family. Mrs. Braxton liked to cook for her family and found pleasure in their company around her home. She was a die-hard Atlanta Braves fan who always kept up with the team and followed them season after season. Mrs. Braxton was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend who will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her. Mrs. Braxton's surviving family includes her daughter, Hazel B. Witherspoon, of Timmonsville; her son, Robbie Braxton (Angel), of Lake City; her sister, Mae Evans, of Scranton; and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mrs. Braxton is preceded in death by her son, Jessie James Braxton; and her daughter, Kathy Braxton Webb. The family of Mrs. Braxton will have visitation from three until four o'clock p.m., Saturday, April 7th, 2012, in the funeral home. Funeral services for Mrs. Braxton will be held at four o'clock p.m., Saturday, April 7th, 2o12, in the Brockington Funeral Home Chapel. Burial and committal services will follow the funeral in the Tisdale Cemetery in Kingstree.
