Description	:	Ed operated the business alone from 1943 to 1969, when he sold out and moved to Edmonton where he and his wife lived in an apartment for two and a half years. In the fall of 1926 I, Leola Gee, came from Ponoka to Bluffton to commence my teaching career, which lasted until 1928 when I married Edward. We had a family of five: Patrick, Joseph, Doris, Joyce and Charles. The three eldest children started school in Bluffton in 1936, their teacher being Miss Thelma Preveau. However they soon transfered to the convent in Red Deer, which at that time was operated by the Sisters of Wisdom. Pat and Joe took one year—grade 9— at Campion College in Regina. They then attended Vancouver College. Pat later articled with the firm of chartered accountants, Winspear and Hamilton of Edmonton. He returned to Bluffton after six years and worked for his Dad. He died in 1960.
