Description	:	Leon Fritson, 82, of Minden died Thursday, April 22, 2010, at Bethany Home in Minden. He was born Jan. 26, 1928, in Macon to Carl and Lena (Schnuerle) Fritson. On Aug. 29, 1950, he married Beverly Schroder. Survivors include his wife; sons, David Fritson and his wife, Stacey, of Minden and Bruce Fritson of Phoenix; daughter, Tammy Stadler and her husband, Sam, of Minden; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and sisters, Sandra Kruse of Kearney, Leona Albers of Hildreth and Eunice Adams of Franklin. Survivors include his wife; sons, David Fritson and his wife, Stacey, of Minden and Bruce Fritson of Phoenix; daughter, Tammy Stadler and her husband, Sam, of Minden; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and sisters, Sandra Kruse of Kearney, Leona Albers of Hildreth and Eunice Adams of Franklin. He grew up on a farm outside of Macon and worked for his father until he was 18. He then enlisted in the U.S. Army and served for 18 months. He and Beverly made their home in Minden. He worked for the Minden Co-op for many years. He was a member of the Minden Volunteer Fire Department, the American Legion and the Bethany Lutheran Church. He loved to work in his yard and garden. He enjoyed playing with his grandchildren and playing cards with his friends. He was preceded in death by a brother, Mervin Fritson.
